Hard to believe that anyone could pass through security and attempt to detonate a device on an airplane. Perhaps it is time to build a great wall around terrorist-haven countries and not allow any of them to travel beyond their own borders. While I am not travelling as much as I once did, I would not feel comfortable on any flight that allows passengers to bring weapons of mass destruction onto the flight.
Solutions for Airlines
1) Passengers must disrobe before boarding airplanes; they will be provided with modest gowns to hide their humanity.
2) Flight attendants will be allowed to carry weapons to incapitate or eliminate any threats on planes.
3) Passengers will be chained to their seat which shall resemble a toilet seat so there is no need to leave one's seat to go to the potty.
4) Seats will have release switches which are controlled by the pilot and co-pilot (two-man rule): any disturbances from the cabin passenger(s) and the flight crew can jettison your sorry ass off the plan with a quick flick of a switch.
5) Each passenger plane will have a kill switch which shall be under the control of NORAD. Anything hinkey going on and the commander of NORAD can kill the plane.
Time to bring back the use of telephone conference calls and enhance video conference technologies. I hate travelling and dread it everytime I get to Narita Airport.
