Financial Crisis: What crisis?

I honestly believe that Sen. McCain does not understand anything anymore. His age is finally catching up to him. He no longer has any control over his faculties. And as a result, the GOP should ask him to step aside immediately. Throw Palin off the ticket and put up a token ticket for the election with the full understanding that for the past 8 years, the GOP has lost its way. By stepping aside in November, the GOP will show how gracious they are in light of the terrible governance they did over the past 8 years. Perhaps the electorate will forgive them and try again in 2012 or 2016.
