David S. Broder: 2nd-term Swamp

Broder in his WaPo editorial writes about the horrible mess the Republic finds itself in right before the Mid-term Elections. The US Congress has seen scandal after scandal. No matter who is sitting in the Oval Office or which party occupies the White House, there will always be corruption in government. Are there going to be more scandals while GW sits in the Oval Office? You can bet your last dollar. Maybe it's time for the emergence of a 3rd political party to help restore honesty and good government to DC. Any takers?
