If the recent deaths can be linked to the 'morning after pill', then the pill must be pulled from drugstore shelves. Before anyone gets any notion that I am an advocate of Pro Life, let me say this: drugs should help, not kill. The drug manufacturers should get back to the lab and find out a way to make the drug safer. If they cannot, they must put a 'safety warning' label on the bottle: Death may result from this drug. I know they don't want to scare all the women who take the drug but I believe women should be warned of the dangers.
On another note, if govenments are so keen on reducing or eliminating abortion, then they should come up with progressive ways to help women who become pregnant. I shudder to think of how the women in South Dakota feel since the 'men' of the state passed that insane law. Women who become pregnant and do not want to have the child should be given a monetary reward for bringing the fetus to full term. How much money? Well, I would like to say at least $100K. The money incentive should be high enough to compensate women for the 10 months of the pregnancy and the emotional scares that come with the pregnancy.
Heck, I'm sure the adoptive parents would gladly pay for some of the monetary reward.
