If GW wants Roberts to join the others on the Supreme Court, then let's give the GOP what they want. There are other more important issues facing the US. Roberts' nomination to the highest court pales in concern with the other major issues facing the US today and in the future. Issues such as: US dependency on foreign oil; terrorism; massive global trade imbalances; weakening of US military preparedness; poor education standards; and much much more. So, let's not lose sight of the bigger picture here - the fight for Roberts is nothing more than strange debate in the US Congress. A debate which takes the attention of the US public away from the other problems facing the republic.
