Yup. I was one of the 'inconvenienced commuters'. By inconvenienced I mean, I was one of the lucky/unlucky thousands who got to enjoy a 30-minute ride into Tokyo with someone foot on mine, another commuter's elbow in the small of my back, and some person jabbing me with his briefcase. At least I got to work albeit about 10 minutes late.
Is there any reason why we have to put up with incompetence by JR East? Or is their incompetence actually 'acts of sabotage' by disgruntled workers? Is Japan seeing the 'rise of militant union activities'?
