U.S. District Judge Jack Weinstein Plays Hardball

In from AP, a federal judge rejects a suit filed on behalf of millions of Vietnamese who claim that US chemical companies committed war crimes by manufacturing Agent Orange (code named "kill you son-of-a-commie") for use by the US government in the forgotten war, Vietnam War.

I don't suppose that the federal government used their collective power to bear on Judge Weinstein to rule against the plaintiffs. You can't really expect a federal judge to rule against the master who feeds now, do you? If you answered 'the judge could bite the hand that feeds him', you really need to get your stinking head examined. No longer in the days of post 9-11, can anyone raise an objection to the current US Administration.

It does not matter which party controls the White House. Federal judges will no longer be tolerated to rule against the master.

And what do you think about the photo that Reuters is running of an Agent Orange victim? Do you think the Federal Judge would have ruled any differently had the victims been white and not asian???
