I never really put much thought to that question. Most of my blog entries are my takes on world news and events. Other blogs are just my rants and ramblings about life in general. A few blogs are about what goes on around me. Now, if someone wishes to call what I do as 'reporting', then who am I to agree.
I have a very strict set of guidelines for blogging.
My Ten Blogging Commandments.
1) Thou shalt not reveal any secrets, trade or personal at anytime - no matter how juicy either may be.
2) Thou shalt always deride stupid and idiotic governmental policies.
3) Thou shalt never make fun of anyone for their sex, race or lifestyle - unless that person is a warmonger or fascist. Or worse - a religious zealot.
4) Thou shalt warn all netizens of false prophets who use the name of the Lord to imprison, torture, beat, kill, and steal from the weaker people in order to subjugate those people.
5) Thou shalt not let the 'extreme right wing of the GOP' hijack the party. Don't let them offer any trade-offs between "religious, sexual, and racial intolerance" and "capitalism".
6) Thou shalt encourage 'lively debates' between politicians who care about their countries and for those 'false politicians' who wrap themselves in a flag of religion, they shall be condemned for attempting to ignite another Christian Crusade around the world.
7) Thou shalt always find humor when I am so gosh-darned exhausted from working 14-hour days.
8) Thou shalt write about all my adventures to Tokyo Disneyland and post numerous pictures of Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the gang.
9) Thou shalt encourage GW to wake up and take the reins of the GOP and government back from those who wish to ruin his legacy.
10) Thou shalt blast those spammers who use my blog to spread their 'silly' products and services.
