Kanji Komatsu, railway employee, lifted a safety gate and allowed two women to enter into a railway crossing zone. Without regard to the safety to the women, an oncoming train struck both women and killed them. Now, the police must investigate what happened and why. Right now, the police are investigating the matter as an accidental death which resulted from professional neglect.
I would like to add one more possibility: Kanji Komatsu did willfully commit murder. Komatsu woke up on this day knowing full well that he had pre-planned his actions. He knowingly allowed the women to be killed. Why? That is up to the police to determine.
Perhaps, Komatsu is some sick sadist who derives pleasure from seeing people go 'SPLAT' on railway tracks. Perhaps, Komatsu loves the idea of killing women. Who knows. Maybe he is just some wacked out sicko. Just think - the perfect crime.
I hope the police file murder charges against the railway employee. There are way too many cases of death due to the professional negligence of workers. It's high time that the police file murder charges instead of filing manslaughter charges. Often, the guilty get a simple slap on the wrist and get their prison sentence suspended.
