U.S. War Policy: Do the ends justify the means?

Only time will tell. Leave it to future historians to decide whether or not GW was right in his 'ordered' treatment of enemy combatants from the War against Terror(ism).

If the actions of the US government spiral out of contro and undo 50+ years of humane treatment of prisoners of war, then 'their actions' are bad. However, if the actions of the US government do usher in a new "World Order" of peace and prosperity then, I guess GW was right. Again, only time will tell which is the correct outcome.
