Toronto Police Officer Threatens to Kill Airplane Passengers

Am I missing something here? In a bizarre case in Canada, a drunken police officer, Amarjit Singh Grewal, sexually assaults a flight attendant and threatens to kill passengers on an aircraft in flight.

For his crimes, he is sentenced to no more than 7 months in jail. Excuse me. I don't care what the person's excuses are. A seven-month sentence is far too lenient.

If you were one of the passengers on that aircraft and you saw some madman stand up and announce that he was going to kill passengers, would you have started saying your prayers and writing out your Last Will & Testament???

So, for losing a few years off your life, the government is only going to punish the former police officer for seven months. Incredible. Very insane. Is there something wrong with the criminal justice system??
