US Speaker of the House Hastert has recently made comments that Billionaire George Soros is receiving funds/funding from drug groups (read 'cartels').
The allegations made by a top US politician (US Speaker of the House of Representatives) does not bode very well for democracy. It appears that the Speaker is upset by George's campaigning against GW. What Soros is doing is expressing his rights as granted to him by the country's forefathers. Now, I am unsure where Hastert is coming from but, I am quite sure that no where does it say that a politician can make such statements without fear of prosecution.
Is the GOP so worried that John Kerry may become the next president that they are resorting to such acts of desperation???
All I want to see is a campaign free of 'smut', 'smear', 'allegations', 'rumours', and 'stupidity'. Let the candidates debate each and every day up to the time of the election. Only then, can voters determine which candidate is the best suited to run the country for the next four years. I really don't care which person wins the election. I only pray that the next US President is ready to fight back terrorists and make the world a much better place to live in.
