Brad DeLong: Commas & Periods

I would like to see transcripts of the various versions of Cheney's remarks. How was the transcript doctored? Who authorized the changing of the transcript? How many people would understand the difference and the nuances of the changes? As for me, I love these types of issues. As a teacher of English, I often get caught up in how punctuation can change the meaning of sentences or toss in some heavy nuances.
